At Maison Château LAGUIOLE, the choice of materials is a fundamental act. Each knife or corkscrew handle is an encounter between the craftsman's hand and a living material, charged with history and character. Our craftsmen in Thiers perpetuate centuries-old know-how by working with noble materials from around the world: precious woods from tropical forests, horns and bones with infinite natural tones, metals with brilliant reflections, latest-generation composites and rare minerals with unique iridescence.
Each material has its own qualities: grain, density, color, feel. It is this diversity that allows our three brands — Château LAGUIOLE®, LIGNE W and Guy Vialis — to offer unique pieces, where no handle is ever quite identical to another.
Noble Woods
